UO art professors featured in ‘Portland2016 Biennial’ exhibitions opening this weekend

Exhibitions that include work by UO art faculty members open this weekend in galleries in Portland as part of Portland2016 Biennial, a major survey of work by artists who are defining and advancing contemporary art practices. UO professors featured in show openings this weekend in Portland include Carla Bengston at C3: Initiative, Anya Kivarkis at White Box, Jack Ryan at Disjecta, and Rick Silva at Cooley Memorial Art Gallery. In all, eight UO art faculty members are included in exhibitions around the state as part of Portland2016 Biennial. Later in the Biennial, Mike Bray will exhibit in Ashland, Tannaz Farsi in The Dalles, Charlene Liu in Pendleton, and Donald Morgan in McMinnville. See the Portland2016 Biennial website for details.
