John Arndt’s research and creative work focuses on sustainable approaches to everyday objects and the integration of natural systems into the home. Frequently featured in design and art publications in the international press, Arndt and his studio, Studio Gorm, continue to intrigue and delight galleries and product developers. His concept kitchen Flow 2 received a 2010 Silver IDEA in the Home Living category from the International Design Excellence Awards. Arndt’s work has been exhibited in Korea, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, California and New York. Arndt received his master’s degree in humanitarian design and sustainable living from the Design Academy Eindhoven in the Netherlands, and his BFA from Alfred University in New York.
