If you are looking to expand your opportunities and creative work, we invite you to apply to our Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degrees: BFA in Art with a Concentration and BFA in Art & Technology.
Students may apply to the BFA program after completing the following coursework:
- ART 115 Surface, Space, and Time
- ART 116 Core Interdisciplinary Laboratory
- Digital Arts
- BFA in Art: One course from the list below
- BFA in Art & Technology: Two courses from the list below
- ARTD 250: Print Media Digital Arts
- ARTD 251: Time-Based Digital Arts
- ARTD 252: Interactive Digital Arts
Applicants must be in good academic standing and meet the minimum GPA requirements:
- 2.75 cumulative UO GPA
- 3.0 GPA in major coursework
Admission to the BFA program is competitive and includes a portfolio review.
Departmental BFA applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the academic year. Eligible students may apply at any time by submitting the online application linked below.
BFA in Art with a Concentration
